Ayami, Jounishi and Mink were exhausted. They hadn’t slept that night and haven’t had a bite to eat for a long time. As Jounishi looked at the map, he realized that the next town wasn’t much farther. They all seemed very relieved.

-“I’m gonna order ramen and rice and vegetables and chicken wings and….” Ayami was cut off by Jounishi who now had his hand over her mouth.

-“Shut up Baka-chan!” Jounishi exclaimed.

-“Meow. I’m looking forward to eating!”

            The three of them continued down the road not even realizing that they were being watched. Above them, floating above the trees, were two suspicious characters.

-“What pathetic losers! Just look at them, complaining over food when they’re supposed to be “saving” this world.” A woman with orange and yellow hair said. She was dressed in a red outfit.

-“ Yes but they have handled their previous battles quite impressively, Fumi!” A guy with silver hair replied. He was wearing grey and white clothes.

-“ What’s your point, Haruki? Those monsters were only amateurs. We have much more powerful summons. This is only for fun!” Fumi laughed.

-“I know! We should report back to headquarters.”

-“I agree.” And with that they disappeared.

            Fumi and Haruki arrived in a dark room, which had only two candles at the end of it. Between the candles was an eerie looking man with black hair and black clothes. Without the candlelight, one would hardly realize that there was anyone there. Fumi and Haruki slowly approached the dark figure that was seated in a large chair. 

-“Dai…suke…” Fumi began. “Haruki and I are aware of our enemies’ next destination.”

-“AND!?!?!” He raised his voice. ”Hurry it up and tell me where! You’re wasting my time!”

-“They’re just entering the next town my lord.” Haruki finished.

-“That’s right my lord and I’m positive that they will be going to the only restaurant in town.”

-“Hum…excellent. I have the perfect plan.”

-“What’s that Daisuke?” Fumi pondered.

-“Well just think, that Ayami girl seems to be a very kind and caring person.”

-“Yes she is.”

-“Well could you imagine if her personality was the complete opposite?”

            Huge grins appeared on Fumi and Haruki’s face as they faced each other. They turned back towards Daisuke.

-“We gotcha!” the two of them replied.

-“I’ll take care of them!” Daisuke concluded.

            Ayami, Jounishi and Mink were now wondering around the town in search for a restaurant. They were all crouched over and rubbing their stomachs. Suddenly Jounishi’s eyes widened in excitement.

-“Do you smell that!?!?” he exclaimed.

-“Ya!!” The two girls said after taking a big whiff in the air.

-“FOOD!!” they all shouted.

            The three of them ran down the street until they reached the huge restaurant from which the aroma was coming from. They entered as fast as they could and took their seats right near the kitchen. It didn’t take long for them to decide what they wanted to eat. Ayami and Jounishi ordered everything on the menu and Mink ordered about half. The waiter took their menus and left to get their orders.

-“Oh, I can’t wait to gobble down all that food!!” Ayami said, mouth watering.

-“Same here! I’ve never gone this long without food!”

-“Ya! Meow! Smells great in here!”

-“Here’s your food.” The waiter said while handing the food to Jounishi and Mink.

-“Oh, and I can’t forget you!” he said with a huge grin on his face as he handed Ayami her order.

-“Thank you” she said.

            Ayami went straight for the ramen. As she picked up her chopsticks and put the ramen in her mouth, the waiter could only watch in excitement. Jounishi just figured that he wanted to see what they thought of the cooking. Ayami’s face was enlightened with happiness as she gobbled down those delicious noodles. Suddenly, her cheerful expression changed to anger and disgust.

-“What the fuck is this!!” she yelled at the top of her lungs. “This tastes like shit! Why the hell are you serving me this, I deserve REAL food!!!”

            Jounishi’s eyes widened in complete shock, as did Mink’s. He’s never ever seen Ayami insult ramen. It was their favourite meal.

-“Ayami??” he said. “Calm down…I’m sure it’s not that bad.”

-“Oh fuck you!! Don’t tell me what to do. Butt out of my business you asshole!”

            Jounishi was frozen in fear. Ayami never yelled at him that way. They would only jokingly insult one another but this time she meant every word she said. It was almost as if the food turned her personality upside down!

-“Ayami? Meow…Are you feeling alright?”

-“I’m just fine, what the hell is everyone’s problem?”

-“You’re not fine Ayami! You never act this way! What’s the matter?”

-“BASTARDS!! I’ve had enough of you pathetic whining!” Ayami raised her hand. “And you guys hardly deserve to live. ANGELIC CURSE!!”

            Although this time, it wasn’t a pink ball of energy surrounded with green rings, it was a dark purple ball of energy surrounded with black rings. The restaurant filled with the screams of many innocent costumers. Ayami was ready to launch her attack and this time, instead of winking before her attack, she raised her middle finger with her other hand.

-“Go to hell mother fuckers!”

            Jounishi and Mink couldn’t move, they were too shocked at the fact that Ayami was going to destroy the restaurant and everyone in it! Ayami threw the blast towards them. Jounishi looked around at all the people, trembling in fear. He then leaped in front of the blast and hit it with his sword. He sent it flying through the wall and out into the sky.

            Meanwhile, Mitsuko, Eisaku, Fumi and Haruki watched their master, who had his eyes tightly closed. Suddenly, Daisuke arose from his chair.

-“I did an excellent job wouldn’t you agree. By entering that waiter’s mind I was able to use him to cast a spell on Ayami’s meal. And now she has turned on her friends.” He laughed.

-“Great job! You are truly evil master!” Mitsuko complimented.

-“With your ability to enter people’s minds, you are unstoppable!” Haruki admired.

-“So what’s she doing now master?” Fumi asked.

-“See for yourself.” Daisuke threw a blast out of his hand and it stopped in the middle of them. It showed everything that was going on at the restaurant.

           Jounishi, who had been scrapped slightly by her attack, looked at Ayami.

-“Damn you, you irritating bastard!”

-“Ayami stop this. This is insane!”

            Ayami charged towards Jounishi, eyes glaring with anger. She locked her hand around Jounishi’s neck and raised him in the air.

-“How dare you block my attack like that? I will make you pay!”

            Ayami’s other hand then surrounded with a powerful energy and with that hand she punched him in the gut as hard as she could. Jounishi dropped to the floor as he coughed up blood. Ayami just stared at him and all the blood that was now dripping on the floor. She began to laugh.

-“What a pathetic fool! Look at you, weakened by a mere punch! You sicken me!”

            Ayami kicked him over to where Mink was standing. She pointed her hand at them and they were hit against the wall by an invisible force.

-“DAMMIT!” Jounishi shouted. “How the hell are we supposed to stop her if we can’t even attack her. I can’t hurt her.”

-“Meow. Jounishi I have an idea!”

            Mink closed her eyes and placed her two hands together. “Baiko-sempai, I hope this works. Meow!” she thought to herself. Mink began to glow a ruby red, she opened her eyes and threw both her hands in front of her.

-“I will cure you of this curse!! Meow!!!!”

            Suddenly, Ayami was paralysed. She couldn’t move anything nor could she use any attacks. A red blast shot out of her hands and hit Ayami.

-“Ah!!!!!!!!!!!!” she screamed.

            Moments after, a dark shadow emerged out of Ayami’s stomach and then dissolved. Ayami then dropped to the floor. Jounishi and Mink ran up to Ayami as fast as they could.

-“Ayami!” Jounishi shouted. “Get up…get up!!”

-“Meow!”

-“Thank….you…” Ayami muttered.

-“Thank god.” The two of them said.

-“Wait a minute! Meow??”

-“What is it Mink?” Jounishi wondered.

-“Ayami, you said thank you. Meow.”

-“Ya…”

-“Meow! That means you knew you were possessed?”

-“Ya, you see, I saw what I was doing but I couldn’t stop any of it. I couldn’t control myself”

-“Weird.” Jounishi said. “Anyways, lets throw out that fucked up food you ate!”

-“Ya!” the two girls agreed.

            Mink destroyed the food and threw it away. The three of them were now ready to fall asleep right in the restaurant so they decided to find an Inn to spend the night. The all agreed that tomorrow they should go shopping for necessities like tents, sleeping bags, some extra clothes and FOOD! That way they wouldn’t have to wait till the next town to eat and sleep. The started to walk through the town in search for an Inn and Ayami was extremely quiet.

-“Jou…nishi..” She began. “I’m really…truly sorry about back there.”

-“Huh? Oh…don’t worry about it Ayami. I knew something was wrong from the start. I know you all too well and I know you would never had said anything like that to me. The real Ayami is way to sweet!”

-“Arigato! ^-^ ”

-“That’s right! Meow! You’re back to normal now!!”

            For the rest of the time, the three of them spent the whole time laughing and Jounishi and Mink were really glad to have the real, cheerful Ayami back again.

-“What could Daisuke be planning next? Will our heroes be turned against each other again?”
