Not much Needs to be said about Shinji. Shinji was abandoned by his Father, the Head of Nerv after his mother died. Shinji was then asked to return to his father later on. When shinji Got there, he was Imediately thrown into Battle with The Angels in the Giant Robot Known As Eva Unit 01. Shinji has alot of problems which you will notice if you watch the series. |

Known As the first Child, Rei grew up inside The NERV headquarters under the supervision of Gendo Ikari, she was like a Daughter to him. Rei was the first to be chosen to pilot an evangelion and knows what she is doing. Seems pretty cold at times but it's because she is unable to express her feelings. Rei has a secret no many people know. Evangelion Unit 00 is her Eva, and it was the prototype, it gets redesigned. |

The Second Child. Asuka Pilots Evangelion Unit 02. She was born in Japan but moved to Germany when she was young, she then returned to Japan later after becoming a full fledged Eva pilot. She lost both her parents at a very young age. |

I'm Choosing to say very Little bout Kaworu. He is an Eva Pilot that shows up late in the series. Notice he bears a nice resemblance to Rei Ayanami? Wonder why... |

A Captain/ Major at Nerv. Lives with Asuka and Shinji. She's a very beautiful women, admired by young men Everywhere. She plays a major role in the show but there isn't really much to say about her. She has a drinking problem and Loves Kaji. She also has quite the temper and i don't think you would like to make her angry. |

Father To Shinji...Some Father. He abandoned shunji after his wife (shinji's mother) died. He owns the company known as NERV and helped in the creation of the Evangelions. He Asked his Son to become a Pilot, and told him that he finally had a use for him. Kind of rough. Throughout the entire series, Gendo only shows a soft Side when he is with Rei. |

Kaji Kaji Kaji... Well I can't really tell you much about him. Him And Misato were a thing in the past, are kind of a thing now, and end up being a thing in the future. Kaji is always calm and doesn't really say much, even though he seems to know more about everything that is going on then he lets people know. |

Ritsuko is a genius that Works for Nerv. She has been friends with Kagi and Misato for many years. Her mother also worked for Nerv and just like Ritsuko, had feelings for Gendo Ikari. When it comes to the Magi system, or any computer really, Ritsuko is the one for the Job seeing as she knows just about everything. |

Touji is best friends with Shinji and Kensuke Aida. He is liked by Hikari Horaki and really doesn't like Asuka. He punched Shinji the first time they met because of the Damage Eva Unit 1 did to Tokyo 3, and it hurt his sister. Touji later on became the 4th child and was designated to pilot Eva Unit 3. |

Not much is really even said about this tropical Domesticated Warm Water Penguin Known as Pen Pen. He's about two years and lives inside one of Misato's refrigerators. He plays a very minor role in the show and is mainly just used to make the audience laugh. He is often seen just wondering around, eating or drinking beer. |
