I

Why would they choose to start showing Gundam to north america using Gundam Wing? Below are some of my beliefs on why they did this.

I’m guessing that Gundam wing was the best way to introduce Gundams to us here in north America. The show itself which comprised of 49 episodes, ran in Japan for April 1995 to march 1996. Then they made a Gundam Wing Movie Called Endless Waltz which had much better quality. But it had a lot of thing in it that Gundam series’ are known for, great characters, Awesome battles and much more!

Gundam Wing takes place in a different time, like most of the other Gundam series, even though the story isn’t related to the others at all! You can see this without seeing any of the previous series’ and still know what’s going on!

GW appeals to both Genders seeing as the action is crazy so the guys wanna see it, and the guys were made to be “good looking” and there is romance in it so the girls will wanna get a glimpse of the show as well. And some of the girls In this really kick ass, and that’s another thing that female viewers enjoy seeing.

Overall, Gundam wing Is possibly one of the Beat Gundam series, no, one of the best Anime ever created, The drama, romance and action can make it appeal to just about everyone! And it’s a series you would not want to go without seeing whether you live in Japan, or in north America !
