But after the war he became a wanderer and started using a reverse bladed sword called the Sakabato so that he could never kill again. Now he uses his sword to protect the ones he loves. He lives at the Kamiya kasshin ryu dojo. And practices a fighting style called the Hiten Mitsurugi style. |

Kaoru is The Kamiya Kasshin Ryu master and The owner of the Dojo. She has feelings for Kenshin and is quite Feisty. She's a little vicious and sometimes goes a little crazy. |

Yahiko's Father was a great Samurai, but his parents died when he was young. Kenshin finds him working for bandits trying to pay off a debt his parents owed them. Kenshin rescues him from the bandits and brings him back to the dojo, here Yahiko learns the Kamiya Kasshin Style. |

Sanosuke is one hella strong guy. When we meet him, he is supposed to be trying to kill kenshin. He learns what kenshin is really about and joins his side. He used to carry a Huge Sword That was almost twice his size, But Kenshin destroyed it. He's crazy good with his fists though. |

Kenshin saved Megumi from a big time Opium dealer. She made some Opium that killed one of Sano's friends. Thats when Kenshin found out she was being forced to make it. He ran to the scene, defeated the leader of the Oniwabanshu and got her out of their. |

Saito is A Cop. He met kenshin many years ago during the war and their fight back then never ended. They meet up again and start fighting, they would have fought to the death had Saito not been interupted by one of his Bosses. He was only meant to Test Kenshin. |

Leader of the Oniwabanshu, Aoshi fought Kenshin to prove that his group of men were the strongest fighters in the world. Unfortunetly for him, He was defeated and realized the title was not his afterall. Right afterwards, his friends were all gunned down by his employer. He got away and appeared again later in the series. |

Misao is a very proud member of the Oniwabanshu, she looks up to Aoshi like a big brother. She is searching for Aoshi and the rest of the group until she is told that their all dead except for Aoshi, who has gone missing. She decides tro travel with Kenshin and see if she can find him. |

When Kenshin stopped being a Man Slayer, Shishio took over and became one of the best known Hitokiri's. Although once he was done, he knew to many secrets so the government tried to kill him by shooting him in the head and setting him on fire. He lived and then set out to get rid of all of them. Everyone fights him at one point and he is beating them all silly. |

Soujiro used to be a slave, and was beaten often. Then Shishio gave him a sword and he killed the people abusing him. He then followed Shishio and trained to be strong. He is powerful, and even faster then Kenshin is. He always seems to be emotionless. |
